"..GCC-UAE : EMAAR enlists US expertise.."

Emaar Healthcare Group (EHG) has struck a deal with US-based consultants Methodist International (MI) to build, operate and manage its medical facilities across the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey.
Under the terms of the deal, MI will oversee the launch of Emaar's Burj Dubai Medical Centre and development of clinics in Emaar communities throughout Dubai.
The deal marks the culmination of Emaar's lengthy courtship of the health industry and could signal it is finally ready to commit to its ambitious plans.
Over two years ago the subsidiary announced it would be investing around US$5 billion over the next decade, with plans to develop and manage around 100 hospitals, and supplemented by specialist centres.
EHG's partnership has cast doubt upon the role of UK recruitment firm, HCL, which was previously signed to meet Emaar's staff requirements.
