Kuwait's health chief said that an agreement had been signed with Canada aimed at improving cancer treatments in the Gulf state.
Dr Hilal Al-Sayer, Health minister,and Canada's University Health Network (UNH) inked a memorandum of understanding in Toronto which included a 10-year action plan to raise standards in Kuwaiti health services.
Speaking to KUNA News Agency, the Minister said Canadian specialists would work on plans to develop management in Kuwaiti cancer fighting centres including Surgical, Radial and Chemical therapy treatment.
